If you’re in a long-term relationship or if you’re married, love can start feeling different. Gone are the days when you would make the effort to look ‘made up’ in front of your significant other. The longer you are in a relationship, the more comfortable you feel with your partner. And that is definitely something amazing!
When two people fall in love, barriers and strong walls slowly start to tear down. You both trust each other enough with your vulnerable side. And while we’d all wish our romance could continue to look like scenes straight out of The Notebook, most of the time it’s looking like a reality show. And often it’s the funny, awkward, and sometimes even gross things that make our love grow stronger.
Don’t believe me? Let these hilarious memes about long-term relationships prove my point.

4. Feel sexy for yourself and your man even after all these years, but being comfortable in your skin without all that dazzle is great too!
5. Flirting with your significant other may be different, but it should never stop.

7. When you both find love and friendship in the same person…
8. Sometimes you just can’t help it, right?
9. It’s always the little things!

Which one made you laugh out loud the most? Share this with your man to see if he can relate too! On a serious note, being in a relationship with someone is not the easiest thing to. Love takes a lot of patience and hard work. In my interview with Alison Armstrong, this was the topic we focused on, and wow, did I get so much great advice from her. She’s an amazing woman and mentor and her books about understanding men and women has helped so many people become a better partner in their relationships. Check her episode out on my podcast.
