About Today’s Show

Hi Brad, welcome to the show. Thank you so much for being here.

Well, thank you, Orion, for having me on. It’s great to be on your show.

It’s great to have you. I’m looking forward to this conversation. Before we begin, could you share one beautiful childhood memory with us?

I’ll tell you that the childhood memory that got me started actually was when I was seven years old, and I was really sick with the measles. My parents had made a bed for me on the couch and in the living room so I could be near their bedroom. I had overheard my parents talking, and I knew that the plan was that they were going to admit me to the hospital the next day. I was going into something called an ‘oxygen tent’. I really didn’t know what that was, but this night, everybody else had gone to bed, and I was lying there on the couch just feeling really feverish, nauseated, and sick.

My parents came into the room, and my mother said to my father, “Honey, will you kneel and say a prayer with me for our boy so he will be able to get well?” And so they did. My dad starts offering this prayer. In the middle of this short heartfelt prayer, this change began at the top of my head, and it went through my body to the soles of my feet. I was instantly healed. To go from being really sick one moment to being completely 110% well in the next moment is something that’s so bizarre and so crazy you can’t ever forget it. That’s burned into my mind like it happened yesterday.

I was bursting with excitement when my dad got done, which didn’t take long. I said, “I’m better, I’m better.” And they said, “That’s fine, go back to sleep.” But the next day proved that I was totally well. That was a really pivotal thing for me because it taught me that there is a higher power we can draw upon for help, number one. It also taught me, number two, that healing doesn’t necessarily have to take a long time. It can happen instantaneously. I know that it can because it actually happened to me. That’s one of my very favorite childhood memories. And it was so powerful that it affected the rest of my life.

How did you learn how to call upon it and create that instant healing for others?

I had many interesting experiences. Let me tell you the rest of the story. That was when I was about 13 years old, and I started having these really terrific pains in the back. It was very scary. I mean, they were really severe and would come out of nowhere and would knock me to the ground or take my breath away. I was really worried. My folks are really worried. Took me to the hospital, and they ran all these tests. My parents were told that I had kidney disease. There was no treatment available for it.

The subconscious mind is by far the most powerful computer system that exists in the known universe. It understands everything. Share on X

It was about a 50-50 thing if I was going to survive or not. Because Western medicine had nothing to offer, my folks took me to see some old-time holistic doctors. These doctors started working on me, and right away I could feel my body responding to what they were doing. Within about three weeks, I’d forgotten that I’d ever been sick and had no more pain. My folks took me back to the hospital. They ran all the tests again. All the tests were negative now. I knew that these people had helped me. I decided at that age that’s what I wanted to do with my life. I wanted to be a healer like these guys.

Fast-forward: suddenly, I’m in college, and I need one more class to complete my schedule. The only class that fit was a computer programming class. I wasn’t interested, but I took the class because it fit. And now suddenly, I find out, I’m head over heels in love with computers. And so I became a computer programmer. I had a business called The Computer Tutor back in the early eighties when computers were first coming out.

There was no software. I would write software for people and businesses. It was really fun. But then one day, in December 1984, my wife and I went home to Montana, where I’m from. And we’re sitting around with my mom and dad. My dad asked me this question totally out of the blue. Says, “Are you sure that you don’t want to go to chiropractic school? Seems like a great career, and you’ve always wanted to do that.” And I said, “No,” I’m going this other direction. At the time, I was going to go into it. I was going to get my MBA and go into business and computers. And that was going to be my career. And he said, “Well, why don’t you think about it one more time?” So I thought, ‘Hmm. All right.’ My wife and I made a pro and con list of these two potential futures. And it was a pretty long list on either side. Having learned there’s a higher power that night.

I felt like, “Well, I don’t know what to do now.” I thought I had my life figured out, my life path. And now I was back at this fork in the road again. That night, I got on my knees and prayed about it, asking God to help me. I basically said, “Do you have anything to say about this? Let me know, because I’m able, I’ll go either way.” That night, I had this experience where I was awakened three times. Each time I was awakened, my mind was full of thoughts about how wonderful it is to help people naturally and serve them.

Emotional baggage is the energy of the emotions that we experience that sometimes gets stuck in the body.

I would counter with something like, ‘I don’t know, but the new IBM PC has a four megahertz processor,’ silly stuff, because I was so into computers. That night, the next day when I woke up, I still didn’t know what to do. The next night, I’m on my knees again, asking for help and guidance from God. The second night, I had the same experience three more times, each time exponentially more powerful than the one before, so that on the third time I was awakened on the second night, thoughts of service to mankind, humanity, and the whole world were absolutely overwhelming.

Right then, I heard a voice that spoke to me as clearly as I’m speaking to you right now. And it said, “This is a sacred calling. And I thought, “Okay, I’m in.” I didn’t really know what that meant, but so I went to chiropractic school, had a great career. One day, I’m sitting in class, and our instructor is talking about how the brain is like a computer. I’m sitting there in the class thinking, gee, the brain is a computer. I wonder if we’ll ever have the technology someday to be able to access the computer that is the brain.

That would be an amazing way to help people figure out what’s really wrong with them, because the brain must know what’s going on. And I thought, well, probably not in my lifetime, maybe in the next two or 300 years, we’ll have that technology. Little did I know that that was what my whole career was going to be about. Figuring out, decoding the language of the subconscious mind, the brain is figuring out how to ask questions of the subconscious and get answers about things. I went into practice, and eventually I learned that all my patients, no matter how young or old, were suffering from something. It didn’t matter what they were dealing with.

If they had physical pain or if they were dealing with depression or anxiety or phobias or panic attacks or PTSD or eating disorders, or if they’d been diagnosed with some kind of disease, they all had something in common, and that was what I came to call their emotional baggage. Emotional baggage is the energy of the emotions that we experience that sometimes get stuck in the body. How this works is, if you think about it, when we experience an emotion, well, first of all, what is an emotion? Well, if you look at things in terms of quantum physics, the body itself is just a very complex energy field. We know that that’s true.  We know that the body ultimately is just made of atoms, and atoms are really, there’s nothing solid in there, they’re just made of energy.

“If you want to understand the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration.” – Nikola Tesla

Well, think of emotions as energy too. Nikola Tesla, many years ago, said, “If you want to understand the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration.” Well, if you apply that to emotions, every emotion has a certain frequency, a certain vibration, a certain energy. For example, if you’re feeling a really powerful emotion of grief, for instance, if you could measure your vibrational frequency at that point, it would be different than if you’re feeling an intense emotion of anger, for example. All feelings have a frequency. Does that make sense?

Normally, here’s what happens when we feel an emotion. Something happens, we see something, we hear something, someone says something, we think something, and a certain emotion starts to come up for us, a certain vibration from the subconscious mind. And as that emotion comes up for us, we’re starting to enter what I call the emotional loop. This is normally how we experience emotions. That emotion starts to be felt. We might feel certain physical sensations with specific emotions.

We might have certain thoughts that come up with a certain emotion. But most of the time, what happens is we acknowledge that emotion and let it dissipate its energy and go away. That emotional experience starts and then ends. Now that the experience is over, we’re ready for the next emotional experience. But sometimes, sometimes emotions come up that we don’t want to feel. We bury that emotion. We stop it from coming up, and we turn our attention to something else.

We distract ourselves, we do something completely different. That emotional energy that emotional loop is now stuck open. That energy that was trying to be felt is still there. Now, that’s one way we develop what we call emotional baggage, or trapped emotions. Another way is: when an emotion comes up, and I’m sure you’ve never done this, you decide you’re justified in really enhancing that emotion. You enhance it, and you get upset. Then later, maybe you have done this. We’ve all done this.

Inside every one of us is an incomprehensibly powerful computer that knows our bodies perfectly.

And I’ve never done that, even today, I have never done that.

When it’s over, right, we often feel embarrassed, like, “Man, I need to be in better control of my emotions. I feel bad, I flew off the handle there, I got so upset, didn’t really need to.”

Are we even able to control our emotions?

We are. Well, the more emotional baggage you get rid of, the more able you are to be in control of your emotions. Really interesting.

All the trapped trauma and trapped emotions basically make you more emotional and out of control. When you clear that, you’re more in control.

Exactly right. It’s a very interesting thing. What happens is that if you bury an emotion, or artificially enhance an emotion, or if an emotional experience is just overwhelming, any of those can result in what we call an open loop for that experience. The energy is still there in the body, and it forms into a little ball of energy, about the size of a baseball, about the size of a small melon. Now these energies, these trapped emotional energies, can lodge anywhere in the body. Wherever they lodge, they tend to create a distorting force on the body. They distort the body’s energy field, thereby causing many physical issues.

Most of the time, we acknowledge the emotion, let it dissipate its energy, and go away. That emotional experience starts and then ends.

For example, one of the first cases that I saw that was really powerful was a woman who came in to see me. She was a patient of mine, but I hadn’t seen her for a couple of months. One day, she comes in, and she says she feels like she’s having a heart attack. Now the left side of her face is totally numb. Her left arm is totally numb. She’s got crushing chest pain and difficulty breathing. We were right next to a medical center. I told my staff, “Look, we might need an ambulance, but give me one minute with her.” I started doing some testing using The Emotion Code and found that she had a trapped emotion. The emotion was grief.

We use a chart like this. There are 60 emotions on here, divided up into two columns and six rows. You can identify the emotion really easily. Within about one minute, I had identified that she had some emotional energy trapped in her body that was contributing to these symptoms, and the emotion was grief, and that it had begun three years earlier. When I arrived at that, she burst into tears. She said, “I can’t believe that’s affecting me.” I thought I dealt with all that. I said, “Well, what happened to you?” And she said that three years before her husband had been having an affair, and she found out about it. She was so betrayed and so deep in grief.

The marriage ended. She went to therapy and dealt with it mentally, which took her about a year. Then she had even recently gotten remarried. As far as she was concerned, that guy betrayed her. He was just her ex. But as far as her body was concerned, that energy, that grief was still right there. When I released that Orion, the feeling came back into her arm and into her face within about three seconds. The chest pain was gone. The difficulty breathing was suddenly gone. About 10 minutes later, she left the office after kind of joking around with my staff and me. She felt fine.

That was over 30 years ago, probably 35 years ago. She and I are still connected. Has a horse ranch in Oregon. She’s fine. She’s never had another heart issue. Now, if she had gone to the ER, they probably would have come back and said, “Well, it’s not really a heart attack. Your heart enzymes are all normal. We don’t know what was going on.” In our day, if you’re having that kind of situation, you definitely should go to the ER. But if they come back and tell you that it wasn’t really a heart attack, you may be on your way to dying really from a broken heart. In the West, we call it cardiac syndrome. In Japan, it’s called Takatsubo syndrome.

The more emotional baggage you get rid of, the more able you are to be in control of your emotions.

What they found was that women, especially those over age 55, who are experiencing some kind of intense emotional difficulty, will often go into this peculiar kind of heart failure. They call it Takatsubo syndrome because, when they x-ray the heart in this kind of situation, they find that the left ventricle is ballooning, so the heart actually takes on the appearance of a Takatsubo, a Japanese fisherman’s jar. It’s a bell-shaped jar that they use to catch octopus. That’s exactly what the heart looks like. The heart can totally fail under those circumstances.

Literally, you can die from a broken heart. I think she was on her way there until we released that emotional energy and intervened. She’s never had any trouble, but I think that very possibly, 10, 20 years down the road, she very likely would have died from heart failure. At the funeral, nobody would have realized that what really killed her was her husband’s affair.

My goodness. Have you ever thought about how many lives you’ve saved with your work?

I have absolutely no idea, because we’ve got hundreds of thousands, probably millions now, doing this work all over the world. We certify people who work with thousands. We’ve approved over 15,000 practitioners now in 108 countries around the world. On the wall behind me, you can see just a fraction of the languages that the books have been translated into.

I was wondering about it because it looks blurry, and it’s the same books I was wondering about. “This is just the translations. Wow, that’s amazing. No, didn’t, but still amazing.”

It’s really incredible. I see I was in practice. I had a busy practice, and I was doing really well. But finally, it really dawned on me that I couldn’t stay in practice. This work had to go out to the whole world. That’s what I’m doing now. The beauty of this is that anyone can learn how to do this. Our work started with this book, The Emotion Code, which is all about how to get rid of this emotional baggage. Then, about a year after this book came out, one morning, I woke up, and my mind was full of instruction. And the instruction was, you need to take everything you’ve learned about natural healing and put it into a self-study course that anyone can learn and make it available to everyone everywhere. That’s what this book is: The Body Code is a method for helping you find and address any imbalance in the body.

The Body Code by Dr. Bradley Nelson

In fact, there’s a chart in the book that shows you how to do it. There are six areas, or parts of the book, that correspond to the six categories of imbalances people suffer from. So things like tops, we know that’s an issue, deficiencies, vitamin, mineral deficiencies, things like that. Pathogens that get into the body set up housekeeping. That’s another way people get sick—misalignments of various tissues in the body. If things are misaligned, they don’t function properly. Emotional baggage is another area—energies, including physical traumas, emotional traumas, stuff like that.

Circuits and systems related to disconnections between the spirit and the physical body. You can find those things because you see, here’s the reality. Remember, I started out as a computer programmer. Well, when I was in practice, it began to dawn on me that inside every single one of my patients was an incomprehensibly powerful computer that knew everything about their body, their mental, emotional, and physical health, and the actual underlying reasons why they were having problems. That computer is very willing to give up its information about you, about anybody, and it knows exactly what needs to be done.

If you’ve got a deficiency, your body knows it. If you have a pathogen, your body knows it. If you’ve got emotional baggage, a heart wall, or a disconnection between your spirit and your physical body, your subconscious mind knows it all with perfect understanding. That’s The Body Code. And then this year, we’re publishing a book called The Heart Code. What this is all about is the heart, and how we build layers of emotional baggage around it that interfere with our ability to really find love and create the life we’re capable of.

Incredible. Because you were into computer programming, do you sometimes see people looking into the matrix? Do you see people as ones and zeros? When you treat someone, do you actually feel them, see them, sense them? What is it like for you when you’re healing, helping someone heal?

It’s a very concrete thing, really. We teach people several ways to communicate with the subconscious mind. That might sound really esoteric, but most of the time, what we teach is how to do some kind of muscle testing. If I were there with you, for example, if I had you hold one arm out parallel to the floor, and if you were to make a true statement such as, My name is Orion, if I were to press down on the end of your outstretched arm, you’d be able to resist me. You’d be strong because that’s a true statement that you just made. It’s congruent.

Trapped emotional energies can lodge anywhere in the body. Wherever they lodge, they tend to create a distorting force that distorts the body’s energy field, thereby causing many physical issues.

On the other hand, if you were to make a statement that’s really incongruent or untrue, like, for example, if you were to say, “My name is Joanna. That wouldn’t be true.” If I were to press down on your outstretched arm, your arm would weaken. I really highly recommend that all your viewers try this, okay, because it’s really funny and actually does work. It works because the spirit within us, or whatever you want to call it, the subconscious mind within us, it’s the same thing. It knows the difference between truth and lies, between positive and negative, and between congruency and incongruency. That’s one way you can get answers.

Another way we teach is by introducing a variety of self-testing methods so you can test your own body. You can ask questions, and the body you see will be normally strong. But if you say something incongruent, untrue, or negative, the body will weaken for just a few seconds. In that interim, if you’re testing a muscle, you’ll find that suddenly that muscle goes weaker. The subconscious mind is by far the most powerful computer system that exists in the known universe. It understands everything. In my case, my internal computer, my subconscious mind, knows everything about me, knows exactly what I need. It comprehends everything that might be going on with me with perfect understanding. Thinking about it, the subconscious mind is beyond our ability to understand.

It’s smart enough that it can create millions of new cells every minute, and it can run and supervise trillions of chemical reactions every minute, and that it keeps our heart beating all our lives, keeps everything running, and is also very much capable of healing, but sometimes things get in the way. The work that you do is really all about. All these books are really all about communicating with that internal computer within us, asking questions and getting answers, figuring out what a person really, truly needs. It’s really amazing. I could tell you lots of stories now. What’s fun is that it also works with animals. They also have a subconscious mind.

You do muscle testing for animals, that’s amazing. How do you do that for animals? Lift your right paw.

Well, you don’t have to train the animal. That would be really good. But it would also be very interesting to see. But no, with animals, there are a couple of different ways you can do it. Let me tell you a story that illustrates, for example. This story is in The Emotion Code book. There was a horse that was having trouble with its hindquarters. It wasn’t walking correctly. The owner had had a veterinarian come over and look at the horse, and there wasn’t anything obviously wrong, but they couldn’t really use the horse. Couldn’t ride the horse. I got a phone call to come and look at this horse. So I went down there with my wife. How you can do this with an animal, and how we did this at that point, if you can imagine, here’s the horse. And I have my wife put one hand on the horse. And then hold her other arm parallel to the ground.

That makes sense. Like if you’re holding a bottle of pills and you can do that and muscle test, then you just put your hand on the animal, which is actually more powerful because your electromagnetic fields are now connected. That’s amazing.

Exactly right. Then I would just talk to the horse. If the horse’s name was Ranger, I think it was, I would say, “Is your name Ranger? I’d get a strong yes answer on my wife’s arm or anybody else that I was using as a surrogate person.” I asked whether a trapped emotion was contributing to this problem. And the answer was yes. And using The Emotion Code chart, I asked, “Okay, where is this emotion? Is it in? I think it was in a column, but I don’t know where it was. It was on here somewhere. And the emotion that came up was sorrow.”

The Heart Code by Dr. Bradley Nelson & Jean Nelson

So I said, “Okay, was this sorrow about a human? No, that was weak. Was it about another horse? No. About a dog? No. Cat? No. I’m kind of running out of ideas.” Suddenly, this bird flies over. I thought, “Well, all right, was it about a bird?” “Rock solid, the answer. From the horse. And so I started laughing, and a little crowd gathered around, laughing too, because it just seemed so silly. That a horse would have sorrow about a bird. But the horse’s owner was there, and she said, “Wait a minute.” She said, “You know what? I think I know what this is about.” She said the week before, right before the horse started having trouble, a baby bird fell out of its nest right immediately in front of the horse’s stall. On the civil road, this baby bird struggled for its life and eventually died and was undoubtedly run over. The horse was in its stall that whole day. And so I asked, “Okay, is that what this is about?” Aking the horse, the answer came back rock solid.

I took a magnet that you can use any kind of magnet, or your hand, and I just swiped down, right down the middle of the horse’s back, down what we call the governing meridian that all animals and people have, just a few times to release this energy. They took the horse out for a walk, and it was perfectly fine. The problem is instantly gone. It works great on animals. In fact, it’s the most powerful thing you can do because animals are just like people. They experience emotions just like we do. With The Emotion Code, you can identify.

What emotional energies they have trapped. It’s the most powerful way to get rid of a behavioral problem or a physical issue in an animal, just like in people. We have behavioral issues. We have physical problems too. The common denominator for all my patients was trapped emotions. That’s why I left practice and wrote this book, The Emotion Code. But this new book, The Heart Code, is why we wrote this, even though we talk about the heart wall in The Emotion Code book and The Body Code book.

The reason why we’re publishing this new book, The Heart Code, is that we wanted to really shine a bright light on this phenomenon of the heart wall. If you think about it, people all over the world in ancient times believed that the heart was the seed of the soul, the source of love, creativity, and romance. They believed the heart was the core of our being. Undoubtedly, they got those ideas from observation, because we all know that most of us, at some point in our lives, have felt like our hearts were going to break. Like, we’re really hurting someone who’s hurting us or just deep in grief about something. Can you remember a time in your life when you felt that?

If you’ve got a deficiency, your body knows it. If you have a pathogen, your body knows it. If you’ve got emotional baggage, a heart wall, or a disconnection between your spirit and your physical body, your subconscious mind knows it all with perfect understanding.

Yeah, of course.

You probably would from looking at your website a little bit and seeing your whole journey. You’ve had a really interesting journey, but most of us have had that feeling. Well, when you feel that your heart really is under assault, and we now know.

You looked at my website, well, thank you!

We’re finding out amazing things about the heart. I mean, they’ve known for a long time, I think over 100 years, that the heart has a lot of gray matter and white matter in it. But it wasn’t until 1991 that they published a study where they realized, “Okay, these 40,000 neurons in the heart, this brain material in the heart is actually a completely separate brain from the brain in our heads.” And in the 60s, when they started doing heart transplants, heart transplants became routine.

Doctors inevitably began to notice that certain patients would return to them and report strange goings-on. That their taste in food, sports or music had completely changed 180 degrees. Or that they had memories now of being in places that they never were in life. Inevitably, when these people were connected with the family of the heart donors, they would find out things like, yeah, our son was a baseball player, and now you love baseball, but you didn’t before, and your heart’s beating in his chest. And your heart’s beating in your chest. How weird is that? Or yes, our daughter loved Rome. It was her favorite city in the world.  Now you have memories of being in Rome, even though you’ve never been there in your life. Those must be her memories because her heart is inside of you.

How crazy is that? There are whole books written about this, and it’s called cellular memory. It has to do with the heart. The heart brain remembers the things that we love the most. Our true affinities are recorded in the heart brain. Well, the ancients were absolutely right. But what happens is if you feel like your heart’s gonna break, the subconscious mind will build a wall. Around your heart to protect your heart from being broken. We call it the heart wall. And that wall is invisible. You can’t see it. I never would have come up with this on my own; it had to be shown to me, really, from up above.

All your method was shown to you. Did you get all those things with the muscle testing and the magnets, and all that in the downloads?

Not all of it. Some of it was, I didn’t come up with muscle testing. But there are things that, yes, were actually shown to me. I had this habit when I got into practice. I had a habit of asking for help from up above, from every person I saw. It was just a momentary pause, really; I wasn’t anybody who ever knew that I was saying a prayer for them. But I was asking God for help. It worked for me because there were times when somebody would come in, and I didn’t know how to help them.

Burying or artificially enhancing an emotion can create an 'open loop' in your experience. The emotional energy is trapped, which can lodge anywhere in the body. Share on X

I’d offer that silent prayer for help and information, and sometimes it would flood in. And so, yes, there are things in our work that have definitely come from up above. In the meantime, I was just studying everything, ancient and modern, and anything I could get my hands on, because I was really obsessed with fixing my patients. I figured that’s my job, and I wanted to; I really was obsessed with getting to the underlying causes of their problems. That’s really where all of this stuff came from. But here’s the thing. 93% of the people we have tested have this heart wall phenomenon.

They put up a wall around their heart at some point, maybe as a child, maybe going through a divorce, whatever. They’re walking around in life with this wall of energy, this kind of like a force field around their heart. The problem is that it makes it much more difficult for them to give and receive love. It makes it more difficult for them to really manifest the perfect blueprint that lies within their heart. It’s amazing how powerful it can be. Let me share one story with you. One of the very first people that I worked with who had a heart wall was my wife, and it changed her in radical, amazing ways for the good.

But one of the next people that I worked on was a 38-year-old nurse who came in to see me, and she had neck pain. It was about a nine on a 0-to-10 scale. So it was really hurting. She’d been to a couple of other doctors. They hadn’t been able to help her. She comes in to see me. And as I’m talking with her, she tells me she hasn’t dated in 8 years and that she’s never going to date again. She’s going to live her whole life as a single person. She was an attractive woman. I just thought, “Wow, that’s weird.” Said, “Why, I asked her, How did you arrive at this to be single your whole life? “And she said, well, eight years before that, she was really deeply in love with this guy that dumped her and broke her heart. That was it. She was never going to date again. Well, guess what? I tested her. And what do you think she had? Well, she had a heart wall. That wall went up during that breakup. There were three emotions, three different emotions making up this wall, this invisible wall.

The heart brain remembers the things that we love the most. Our true affinities are recorded in the heart brain.

I cleared those three emotions, probably took about, I don’t know, maybe five, 10 minutes. And when we were done and cleared the last emotion. Suddenly, her neck pain went from a nine to zero. And this is not unusual at all. Nine to zero. And she was so happy because it had been so painful, and now it was suddenly gone. She left the office. She was very happy. She got what she came for. Her neck pain was gone. She was thrilled about it. She didn’t come back for three months. And when she walked back into my office, I remember seeing her in my hallway, and I remembered her immediately. I said, “Hey, how are you? What’s going on?” And she said, “My neck has been fine since I was here.” But she said, “You cleared that heart wall for me. And that really works.” She said, “About two weeks after I was here, I found out my sweetheart had been living right around the corner from me for almost eight years.”

We’re dating, and we’re in love. And she said, “I think he’s going to ask me to marry him.” And this is not unusual. One of our practitioners, a couple of years ago, told us about this situation where she had a sister who had been divorced for nine years. She called her up one day, and she said, “Listen, it’s been nine years. I’m tired of being alone. I’m not getting any younger. I’ve got to find somebody. Will you come work on me and see if I’ve got emotions trapped that need to be released?”

Her sister came over, found out that she had a heart wall, and cleared the trapped emotions from her heart wall. It took them a couple of days. When it was done, neither of them had told anyone what they were doing. They just worked together, spent the weekend together, and that was it. Guess what started happening on Monday? And it sounds crazy, but the phone began to ring. Who was calling? Guys who had known her for years. Because you see, when that wall was taken down, suddenly that energy went out into the world, and it started being picked up. I mean, all of a sudden, she’d pop into their heads.

Her vibration elevated and matched theirs. They were streaming on the same radio frequency, and now they’re together. It’s beautiful. I have a personal question about it. I’ve been suffering from sciatica, and lately it’s becoming almost debilitating. I’m going to check out a doctor, but how do I know if this is physical or emotional or a heart wall, or how do I find out?

To really have peace in your life, you have to forgive everybody and yourself.

So you’re sitting there in pain right now.

I have some pain, yeah.

I’d be happy to work with you remotely and see if we can make a dent. Would you like to?

Yeah, of course.

Let’s do that. Here’s how we work with somebody remotely. Now, let me explain first, because in quantum physics, there’s a principle called entanglement. That means energies can become weirdly connected over vast distances. And then they basically function together. The human body has an amazing built-in ability to set aside its own needs and act on behalf of someone else. I can make a connection with you, and we can check what’s going on. This will be fun. And we can make a difference for you. Let’s do that. How do we do that?

First of all, I’ve asked for some help from up above. Here, let’s do that right now. All right, here we go. Let’s ask. First of all, I’m going to be using muscle testing. I’ll use this method. It’s called the ring-in-ring method. When the rings stay together, then that’s a ‘yes’ answer coming from your subconscious to mine. If the rings break apart, then that’s a ‘no’ answer. That’s what you’re going to see. The first thing I want to know, Orion, is whether we’re energetically connected. And I get a yes answer. So that’s that entanglement thing going on. Our energies are entangled.

Healing doesn't necessarily have to take a long time. It can happen instantaneously. Share on X

I actually feel connected to you from the moment I saw you. There is something about you that is so beautiful and radiant. I felt an immediate connection. That was there before.

That’s fine with you. Thank you. Well, here we go. Let’s see. Let’s ask: Okay, is there a trapped emotion contributing to the pain you’re having? And the answer is yes. Now, that answer is coming from your subconscious mind. Now, we look at the chart of emotions. We’ve got two columns, first of all. And I’ll ask, is this emotion in column A? And that’s a no answer. Now we know the emotion is somewhere in column B. And remember, we’ve got six rows. So is this emotion in column B in one of the odd rows? No. So is it in row two? No. Is it in row four? That’s a yes. So in row four, we have these five emotions: depression, frustration, indecisiveness, and panic, which are taken for granted. Is the emotion depression?

‘No.’ Is it frustration, indecisiveness or panic? You have a trapped emotion of panic. Now I’m just going to grab a little note. Note thingy here so I can keep some notes going. Alright and alright here. And I’ll send you the results of what we have found when this is over. You have a trapped emotion of panic. Do we need to know more about this? In other words, does your subconscious mind need us to dig a little deeper before it will allow this to be released? We’re finding an open loop. And the answer is ‘yes.’ Is it okay if I ask you what your age is right now, and we’ll figure out how when this thing happened? That’s no worries, no worries. Yeah, that’s fine. Worries. So let’s ask, did this happen in the first 10 years of your life or before that, between 10 and 20? It’s between 10 and 20. Between 10 and 15, 16, around 17 or 18. This happened around age 18.

Now, you might have been 17 or 19, but it’s right around that time frame. Your subconscious mind wants you to know that. Now, you may or may not remember anything about what happened right now. It’s okay if you do, it’s okay if you don’t. If you don’t know anything, you can’t think of anything, then if the subconscious mind needs to get total closure on this, that it brings it to your conscious remembrance, it’ll happen, but it might take a day or two. Don’t even worry about it. Do we need to know anything else? We don’t really. So what I’m going to do now is I’m just going to pass my hand. Okay, over my head like this, over the governing meridian, okay, to release this emotional energy. Did we release that? Yes, we did. Okay. Now, I should have asked you on a zero-to-10 scale how bad the pain was.

The reason why we’re publishing this new book, The Heart Code, is that we wanted to really shine a bright light on this phenomenon of the heart wall.

When I sit, it’s a constant six. And sometimes when I walk, it becomes almost debilitating. Or in the middle of the night, yes.

Okay, all right, cut. All right. Can you stand up and walk just a little bit where you are and then come back and sit down? Okay. All right, go ahead. So we’ll say you’re starting. Yeah, not too long. Take about 10 steps, then come back.

I’m back.

Okay, good. All right. Yeah, tune into the sciatic pain. Let’s see how it feels now. How would you rate it? 0 to 10

Still a five.

That’s great. Now let’s ask the same question again. Do you have a trapped emotion we can release that’s contributing to this pain that you’ve been having? And the answer is ‘yes.’ We look at our feelings chart. Is the emotion in column A in the chart? And the answer is ‘no.’ So that means it’s in column B. We just cut half the chart. Is it in one of the odd rows in column B, row one, three, or five? And the answer is ‘yes.’ Is it in row one? No. Row three, no, row five. Row five. Is the emotion conflict or creative insecurity? Is it terror, unsupported or wishy washy?

Okay, so when we’re taken to a column in a row, and we can’t identify the emotion, it means that the emotion was actually inherited. And we inherit emotional energy at conception from mom or dad, and they might’ve gotten it from their mom or dad, and this can go back for generations. Well, let’s see if this is true. This inherited depression or frustration, indecisiveness, or let’s see, hang on a minute, I’m in the wrong row. Is it inherited conflict, creative insecurity or terror?

It’s an inherited emotion of terror. All right. So let’s see how far back this goes. Did you get this when your father conceived you? No, this came from your mother. Did she get it from somebody earlier? Yes. From her mother? No, from her father. Okay. And how far back does this go from you? Does it go back even further? Yes, how many generations? Five, 10, 15, 11, 12, 13, 14, goes back 13 generations, roughly back to about 1683, give or take 23 years. Did this begin with a female? No, this started with a male, with a grandfather. Okay. So, all right. Let’s go ahead and release that one. Now, Orion, do you have any kids?

Yeah, I have a son. He’s six.

He’s six. He got this, too. And that’s how these energies. Let’s get rid of it. The beauty of it is, this is essentially what we call a shared emotion. Everybody in the line from that person is holding this energy. Let’s release this. Takes 10 swipes to release an inherited emotion. Did we release that? Yes, we did. Okay, cool. All right. Just go ahead and stand up, walk for a minute, come back, and then we’ll see how it’s doing.

This is really fun.

Yeah, having a good time. Now, after releasing that energy, tune in, know, tune into that discomfort and let’s see where it’s at compared to how it was before.

It loosened a bit, but it’s still there.

Okay, how would you rate it? A four?

Four and a half.

Four and a half, okay, that’s fine. All right. This is how The Emotion Code works and how it works at a distance. Let’s ask the same question again. Do you have a trapped emotion we can release that is contributing to this pain that you’re having? And the answer is ‘yes.’ We look at the chart. Is the emotion in column A? And the answer this time is ‘yes.’ Is it in one of the odd rows in column A? ‘Yes.’ Is it in row one in column A? So is it in row three in column A? ‘Yes.’ So that’s either crying or discouragement, rejection, sadness, or sorrow. Is it crying or discouragement? Is it rejection or sadness? It’s an emotion of grief. Do we need to know more about this? We don’t need to know any more about it.

We’ll release this one. We just do one, two, three swipes to release that energy from you. And now let’s go ahead and do another one. Do you have another one that we can release that’s contributing to this? ‘Yes.’ Is this one in column A? No. Column B. Is it in one of the odd rows? Yes. Is it in row one or three? Row three. So is this confusion or defensiveness? Is it grief? It’s an emotion of grief. Do we need to know more about this? We do. So did this happen in the first 10 years, between 10 and 20?

The Emotion Code by Dr. Bradley Nelson

10 to 15, 16, 17, around 18, 19, or 20. This is around age 20. Chronologically, you might’ve been 19, maybe 21, but sometime right around in there, something happened. Do we need to know more about it? Not really. Let’s release that one. One, two, three. And remember, we’re releasing these on your behalf. I’m acting as your proxy. That’s how this works. This is how our practitioners work with other people all over the world. Go ahead and stand up and walk around a little bit now, and let’s see how that’s feeling. All right, on a 0 to 10 scale, how would you rate that now?

A four. It’s still stuck there. I have a lot of emotions.

That’s all right. Well, if you’ve got time, we’ll keep going.

Keep going. I can keep going.

All right, cool. All right, so let’s see. Is there another trapped emotion that we can release that’s contributing to this problem? ‘Yes.’ Is it in column A? It’s in column B. Is it in one of the odd rows? Yes. Is it in row one? Yep. Is it effort unreceived or heartache? Is it insecurity? It’s an emotion of insecurity. Do we need to know more about it? We don’t, really. So let’s release that. One, two, three.  All right, stand up, walk a little bit, and let’s see how that one did. We’ve got a new four, we’re on our way, started at about a six. Awesome. Yeah, tune into that. See how that’s feeling now.

Still there.

About four yet. Okay, all right, let’s see. I’m going to use The Body Code here with you for a minute. And let’s just see what shows up in The Body Code. You want me to share my screen? I can do that if you wish.

Sure, yes.

All right, let’s see. Share screen, allow, and window, and here we go. Here we go. All right, so what we’re looking at here is The Body Code running on my laptop. Now, is there a reason why you’re having this pain? And the answer is ‘yes.’ Is the reason on the right side of our chart? No. So it’s on the left side here. Is it in the energy area? Is it in circuits or systems? It’s in circuits or systems. So we’ll click on that one. And now it brings up other kinds of imbalances and other categories. Is this from something on the right side of this page? Is it a disconnection? It is a disconnection. And is it on the left side of this page? ‘No.’ So is it that your spirit is out of your body, or is it a spirit physical disconnection, or a spirit break?

Okay, this is what we call a spirit break. Now, this almost always affects the heart. If you think about it, if we could, we all, first of all, have a physical body, but we also have a spirit body, which people have known about, of course, since the very beginning, and people have seen it and so on. That’s the part of us that goes on when the physical body dies and gets cremated or gets buried or whatever. Every part of your physical body has a spiritual counterpart. If we could look into your chest and see your heart in there beating, it would look about the size of your clenched fist.

It would look completely normal to match any other woman your age, height, weight, and so on. But if we could look inside your heart and see your spiritual heart, it would appear to be broken. And so that’s an interesting thing. And there is definitely a lot of connection between the heart, the lower back, sciatica, and so on. So, yes. What we’re going to do here is ask whether we need to identify more about this, and the answer is yes. Let’s find out. We’ll go down to the Association and ask, Is there something else associated with this?

The answer is yes. That takes us back out to the home page. What I’m going to do here is, let’s see. Hold on just a minute. I want to grab the notes I was taking for you. Is this really affecting your heart? And the answer there is ‘yes.’ Let’s see what it is. Hold on a second. There we go. Okay, is there something associated with this, or is that causing this? The answer is yes. Is it on the right or the left? Is it in the energy area? It is. Is it something on the left side of this page? Yes. Is it something post-traumatic? It is.

Is it on the right side, left side? Is it a physical trauma? No, the first thing that shows up is what we call a physical emotional shock. Now this is where something emotionally intense happens to you. It’s an experience so emotionally powerful that the energy becomes trapped in the body, causing issues. Is there anything associated with this? Not really. I’m going to make a quick note of this. Let’s see. There we go. Let’s go ahead and release that—some kind of physical or emotional shock. Let’s ask, we release that. And we did. Let’s go back to the homepage and ask, is your heart, your spirit heart, is it still broken? Yes or no?

Not really. So there was some emotional event that happened to you that broke your heart. And now we’ve corrected that. Is that true? Is your spirit heart back in one piece? Yeah. So sometimes there’s more going on; it was just this one thing. All right. And that affects your lower back, contributing to sciatica and everything else. Why don’t you go ahead and stand up, walk around a little bit, and let’s see how that feels now compared to before.

All right. How are you doing? Okay. Yeah. No worries. All right. Well, let’s see. Well, typically in a session like this, we’ll do what works. What we do is we just find and correct whatever imbalances are going on. And oftentimes by the end of a session, which might include releasing anywhere from one to maybe 10 or so energies.

Ancient peoples believed around the world that the heart was the seat of the soul, the source of love, creativity, and romance, and the core of our being.

It’s a four.

A lot of the time, by the end, the symptoms will be gone. I don’t know in your case. Is there? Let me just check my schedule and make sure I’m not running over into something else. No, I’m okay for a few minutes. Let’s ask, and we’ll go back to The Body Code really quickly because we can. All right. So let’s ask this question again. Is there another imbalance that we can release that’s contributing to this issue, this sciatica? Yes. Is it something on the left side of the chart? No. Is it a pathogen? No. Is it a misalignment of something? Yes. Okay. Is it something on the left side of this page? No. Something in the skeleton? Yes. Is it something on the left side of this page? No. So it’s something in the axial skeleton. Is it something on the left side? This is The Body Code we’re using, of course. So on the left side of this page, yes. Is it something in the vertebral column? Actually, no. It’s something in the skull.

Something in the skull, something going on in your skull. The skull is the most amazing three-dimensional jigsaw puzzle that exists in the known universe. I mean, it is unbelievable. There’s some, and all the bones in the skull expand and contract very slightly, about 12 times a minute. When a bone can’t move properly, it can cause problems elsewhere in the body. So is this particular bone on the left side of this page? No. Is it the frontal bone? No. Parietal? No. Temporal bone? No. It’s the occipital bone. This bone, right at the base of the skull, which by the way, connects with the very, very low back, can cause trouble. So there’s an issue here. All right. So let’s see. Is there anything associated with this? The answer is ‘yes.’ So we go back home.

So it’s like your subconscious mind is saying, “What, I’ve got a problem with this bone.” If I were there with you, if you were to touch this bone and hold your arm out, your arm would be as weak as spaghetti. You would not be able to hold your arm up. So let’s ask what’s going on with this bone. Is it something on the left side? ‘Yes.’ Is this an energy of some kind? ‘Yes.’ Is it post-traumatic? Yeah, it’s coming to me. It’s actually a physical trauma.

I think I know what it is.

Some sort of blow you took.

A blow. It was not private information; it’s on my website. I was in an abusive relationship. One of the things that he did was push me, and the back of my head hit the concrete. It was like a window ledge. The noise it made was severe, and I couldn’t. Yeah. And I had another time that I fell and hit my head, I think pretty much in the back. So I think those two traumas may be affecting this. But how does the skull connect to the nervous system? Well, I guess all the nerves are here, coming from the brain. But why now?

When you feel like you're about to experience heartbreak, your subconscious mind builds an invisible wall around your heart to protect it from breaking. Share on X

Well, in chiropractic, there was a man named Lovett many years ago who found and labeled something that he called the half-brother system of the spine. What he found was that the uppermost bone, for example, would connect with the lowermost bone. And if this one had a problem, then this one would, and so on. And so it worked out all the way through the entire spine. If I recall correctly, the occiput connects with the sacrum right down at the very base of the spine. There’s a whole mechanism, there’s an entire technique. In chiropractic, there’s the sacro-occipital technique.

They’re people who just will work on the occiput and the sacrum to try to get that cerebrospinal fluid flowing again. Great work. Let’s ask, this physical trauma energy, is this from the back of your head hitting the concrete ledge? Is it from that? ‘Yes.’ It’s exactly from that. All right. Okay, interesting. Do we need to know more about this? Anything associated? I’m going to go ahead and release this physical trauma energy. Did we release that? Yes, we did. Okay. Now you for sure need to get up and walk just a little bit because of the bone.

We’ll do it again, it actually feels looser.

Awesome. I mean, your head, your neck, or your back?

My back.

You’re back. Okay, cool. How do you rate it, pain-wise? Just out of curiosity here. Well, we’re making some progress now. Two. Yeah, some people take a while.

Yeah, finally. So many traps and trapped emotions. But you know, it’s like I’ve done so many modalities. I shook, did Reiki sessions, and so much more. I’m like, “I’m done with this.” I shook it. I danced it. I hypnotized it. I did so many things to it, and it’s still there.

I get it. Absolutely. Well, the beautiful thing about The Body Code is that it has all the imbalances in it, essentially, the vast majority that we suffer from. If they’re not in here, they might be in what we call the belief code, where we can find and identify subconscious beliefs that are interfering with our ability. We can see these and delete them.

What I’m experiencing now is that I have like real like like shakes in the lower back, like physically I’m shaking, my lower back is shaking. What does that mean? I’m gonna levitate.

When an emotion comes up, you decide you’re justified in enhancing it. You enhance it, and you get upset. Then later, we often feel embarrassed.

Let’s ask, this is how this stuff works. What you’re seeing is a typical session. Let’s ask: is there another reason, another imbalance, that we can address and deal with that’s contributing to the trouble you’ve been having? The answer is ‘yes.’ Is it something on the right side of this page? “No.’ So it’s on the left. Is it in the energy area? No. Is it in circuits or systems? Yes, it is. So we’ll go there. And is it something on the left side of this page? No. So is it something in the organs? It’s an organ. So we’ve got all these organs. So which organ is it? Is it an organ on the left side? No. Is it a bladder? Gallbladder? Is it heart? It’s kidneys.

In Chinese medicine, if you go to somebody who is really adept at acupuncture and you have low back pain, the first thing that will pop into their head is the kidney because they have found that there’s definitely a correlation there. The kidney connects with these deep muscles in the back, the psoas muscles, but also with the upper trapezius muscles here. Let’s decode this. Do we need to decide which? On the side, this imbalance is on. Not really. There’s something going on with you. Anything associated? Yes. So there’s definitely a kidney imbalance. Is this affecting both kidneys?

Yes, gonna make a note of that. There’s something else going on. When we go to the association, we get a yes answer, and we go back to the homepage. This is how the subconscious mind can speak to us. So what is this? Is it something on the right side? In other words, your kidneys are imbalanced; they’re unhappy. But there’s a reason why. And now we’re looking for the reason why. Is it on the right side? No. Is it in energies? And is it on the right side of the chart or the left side? Is it something post-traumatic?

Yes. Is it on the right side or the left side? Is it a physical trauma energy? It is. So, something else that happened to you, do we need to identify more about it? Anything associated? Nope. I’m just going to release this. It’s another physical trauma energy. That was when you fell backwards and hit the back of your head on the concrete. That can create this kind of thing, something like that, a fall, a blow, actually, surgery can do this too. Yeah, so, but we didn’t need to know anymore about this one.

And by the way, I’m still shaking. Is that normal?

Yeah, sometimes it is. What’s happening is your system is processing and we, let’s ask, let’s see, let’s go ahead and release that physical trauma energy. We didn’t need to know any more about it or anything. “Are your kidneys happy now? Yeah. Kidneys are balanced now. Go and take a walk, okay? And let’s see how it’s doing now, how it was before.” We got it down to two from six.

It’s releasing, it’s a one. Still feeling a little bit, but it’s releasing.

Okay, good. We’ll go back to The Body Code. Let’s ask: Is there another imbalance we can release from you today? Is there something else we can do? No. So your computer, your system, is saying, “No, that’s enough, thanks, I’m done.” And so, let me know how you do. You can just send Lacey an email; you’ve got her email address, give it a couple of days, two or three days, and then send us a message and let us know how you’re doing. But because we’ve really been addressing the true underlying reasons, this is actually the best way to fix things permanently. Often it’s a surprise. I mean, you never know. If you look at this, what was going on with you?

Well, you had trapped panic emotion from 18. You had an inherited emotion that went back like 13 generations, grief from around age 20, and attractive emotions of insecurity—had a broken heart due to an intense emotional thing that happened. Your occipital bone was not functioning well because of the energy of the physical blow that you took from when you hit your head on that concrete window sill. Then your kidneys were imbalanced. Again, because of some kind of physical blow you took, but your subconscious mind didn’t really care to dig deeper into that. It was like, nah, it’s okay, just release it. What we’re able to do with this work, with The Emotion Code, The Body Code, The Heart Code, etc., we’re able to get to the answers, the true underlying reasons for things in the shortest possible time.

Get rid of your heart wall, your emotional baggage, and focus on forgiveness.

Wow, thank you so much. I was very generous of you. I didn’t expect it to take long. My body was like, “Well, if we’re here, let’s deal with it.”

Yeah, that’s totally fine. And yeah, no worries at all. And if you want.  Thank you.

Thank you, that was magical, really beautiful, and congratulations on your new book, The Heart Code. And before we say goodbye for now, real quick. What are your three top tips to live a stellar life, and where can people find you?

Gosh, my three top tips. One of those top tips is to get rid of your heart wall, your emotional baggage, and focus on forgiveness. To really have peace in your life, you gotta forgive everybody. You gotta do it, and you gotta forgive yourself even though you were there and you screwed up, and you made those mistakes, and you might be the hardest person of all to forgive because of that. You have to forgive yourself. And the last one is to really focus your life on developing your ability to love others. Focus on unconditional love. One of the beautiful things is that as you let go of your emotional baggage, your ability to love others will increase.

Especially when you take down that heart wall, it unlocks your ability to give and receive love and to really create the perfect blueprint that lies within your heart. Those are my three top tips. You can find us at discoverhealing.com. And if you’re interested in The Heart Code book, you can visit my personal site. Of course, it’s on Amazon and similar sites. But you can also go to drbradleynelson.com. You can order The Heart Code book. And if you order a few copies for your friends, you can even get gifts, like a free session where one of our practitioners will work on you to get rid of your heart.

That’s amazing. And that would be great for 93 % of our listeners who got a heart wall. That’s amazing. Well, thank you so much, Brad. That was amazing. Thank you for your generosity. Thank you for your kind heart. And thank you, listeners. Remember to release your heart wall and your emotional baggage, to work on forgiveness for yourself and others, and to focus on unconditional love. This is Orion till next time.

CHECKLIST OF ACTIONABLE TAKEAWAYS

  • Learn basic muscle testing to access your subconscious mind. Have someone hold one arm parallel to the floor while making true-or-false statements. The arm stays strong for truth and weakens for lies. Practice with simple statements before moving to health questions.
  • Release trapped emotions using the Emotion Code chart. Use the 60-emotion chart with muscle testing to identify trapped emotions. Determine when it originated, then release by swiping a magnet or hand down your spine 3 times (10 times for inherited emotions).
  • Understand the three ways emotions become trapped. Emotions get stuck when you: (1) bury feelings and distract yourself, (2) artificially enhance emotions and lose control, or (3) experience overwhelming events. Use this awareness to identify which past experiences created trapped energy.
  • Address inherited emotions going back generations. Test whether trapped emotions came from ancestors through conception. These can go back 10-15+ generations. Releasing them helps you and everyone in your family line, including your children.
  • Identify and release your heart wall. Since 93% of people have an invisible energy barrier protecting their heart, test yourself. The heart wall is made of trapped emotions that block love. Release each emotion to improve relationships and manifest your desires.
  • Connect physical pain to emotional and energetic causes. Chronic pain may have emotional and energetic components alongside physical causes. The Body Code system explores six imbalance categories to identify contributing factors.
  • Recognize the heart-low back connection. In holistic healing approaches, practitioners explore connections between emotional trauma, organ systems, and physical symptoms. The spine’s interconnected system means issues in one area may relate to symptoms in another.
  • Work on animals using surrogate muscle testing. Place one hand on your pet and hold your other arm out for testing. Ask questions to the animal’s subconscious, and your arm shows responses. Animals experience emotions and benefit from releasing trapped energy.
  • Practice daily forgiveness and unconditional love. Forgive everyone, especially yourself, for past mistakes. Focus on developing unconditional love for others. As you release emotional baggage and your heart wall, your natural capacity to love increases.
  • Connect with Dr. Bradley Nelson and access resources. Visit discoverhealing.com to find certified practitioners in 108 countries who work remotely. Get books at drbradleynelson.com – order multiple copies of The Heart Code to receive gifts, including a complimentary heart wall release session.
